Dental Prosthetics - Lardent Dental Clinic

Achieve a fully functional and aesthetic smile!

Indications for Treatment

Loss of even a small fragment of a tooth changes the biting conditions in the oral cavity. Gaps in dentition lead to shifts and tilts of the remaining, even healthy, teeth, resulting in damage to subsequent teeth. Overloads and non-axial biting loads begin to occur, adversely affecting patient satisfaction with their smile.

Treatment Options

Each dentition and each patient is different, therefore various restorations are used: fixed (crowns, bridges, porcelain veneers, inlays and overlays), removable (skeletal dentures, acrylic) and combined works (e.g. dentures on clasps, telescopes).

Prosthetic Restorations

The goal of every treatment is to restore health to the patient, in the case of prosthetic treatment, it is to restore proper chewing function, speech and a beautiful smile. FAQ – frequently asked questions

What are the different types of dentures available at our clinic?
At our clinic, we offer different types of dentures, including fixed (crowns, bridges, porcelain veneers, inlays and overlays), removable (skeletal dentures, acrylic) and combined works (e.g., dentures on clasps, telescopes).

Are implants a better solution than traditional dentures?
Implants may offer certain advantages over traditional dentures, such as better maintenance of the jawbone structure, greater comfort, and appearance closer to natural teeth. However, the best solution depends on the individual needs and health of the patient.

What are prosthetic crowns and bridges?
Crowns and bridges are fixed prostheses. A crown is used when a tooth is damaged but still strong enough to serve as a base for a prosthesis. A bridge is used when one or more teeth are missing, and adjacent teeth are used as supports.

Are dentures comfortable?
This depends on the individual needs of the patient. Some patients need some time to get used to wearing dentures, but most of them report that they are comfortable and functional.

How to care for dentures?
Dentures should be cleaned daily using products designed for denture care. Hard toothbrushes should be avoided as they can scratch or damage the dentures.

Can I eat normally with dentures?
Yes, most patients are able to eat normally with dentures. However, this may require some practice and patients may need time to get used to eating with new dentures.
